Raw pitcher with two plus pitches. Very athletic, college SS. Large frame with loose arms and
legs. Long legs. Built like Zach Greinke. Short INF circle in back with arm. Balanced high leg lift.
Some funk/deception with high lift and lead arm bouncing up and down but arm gets up early
which gives hitters a very good look at the ball as it is thrown from his ear. Opens up into landing
which allows his backside to clear fully but puts stress on arm. Fast arm. FB jumps out of hand,
sits 93-94 touching some 96's. Despite velo, it's a pretty light FB that hitters get good swings on.
Flat and straight, I excpected better downhill life from his slot. Area command at best with FB,
just trying to throw it for strikes. Best pitch is hard cutter. Works @ 87-89 but still has
remarkable action on it given it is thrown so hard. Locates SL/Cut better than he does FB, very
good feel for it. With contined refinement will be a very good pitch. Slurve thrown in the high 70's
is mediocre, should scrap it and focus on three pitch sequence. Shows descent fade and life with
CH but arm spd slows and it is consis. up in zone. Would need lots of work to make it avg. With
how new he is to pitching he does have more projection in him than a typical 23 yr old but I don't
see the command becoming avg, much less the command typically associated with 8th and 9th
inning door slammers. The two plus pitches will give him a shot though and I  see him in a middle
to long relief role with a ceiling of a setup guy if the command clicks a little better. He will get
every opp. with the arm strength and secondary pitch he shows.
