Grinder short on tools has some versatility. Med. build. Evenly prop. Avg build, not esp. cut
up but not a soft body. Body is what it is. Some swing flaws that are making it hard for him to
hit ball hard and clean. Circles his hds down and back to load but there is no tuck or turn away
from ball. Doesn't set hds in gd place to move thru zone. Hds are slow thru zone. Gets long.
Lots of weak rollovers and INF pop ups. Very gd feel for strike zone. Sees breaking ball well
out of hand. Not much power. Quiet bat, ball comes off soft. Cozy home park helps him.
Below avg runner. Arm strength is playable across INF but best suited for 2B. Kicks ball
around a lot. Stiff hds. Below avg range. Stays in and turns DP ok. Has ability to handle
himself @ 1B and 3B and should improve a tick with exp. but generally has a hard time taking
care of the baseball. Bat doesn't fit any profile w/plate disc. but lack of power or avg. Ability
to play mult. positions gives him light org. value @ AA level. Old for level-not be having a
great yr. Tools aren't there to think he has better in him.
