Young RHP who is a long way away. Med. frame, thicker than listed weight. Don't see much
projection in body. Athletic. Fields his position well. Built similar to Juan Rincon. Slight pause in
deliv. before he lands, also steps over with his left leg @ pause. Glove arm mirrors throwing arm
thru deliv. creating some deception for hitters. Med. length A/A is without problems. FB varies.
84-86 one day, 88-90 the next. No kick thru glove, seems as if pitches get to glove but have no
intention of going any further. Flat. Middle of plate loc. and avg @ best FB result in loud banging
contact. SL same velo varience, big range. Throws thru hard ones turning into soft cut pieces and
comes out of soft ones. Flashes occ. tilter but with no consis. Long ways away. Minimal feel
w/CH. Tries to turn it over but gets towards middle. Lots of hard contact. Not enuf FB and lacks
secondary stuff to get by when best FB takes night off. Pitching scared right now. Hard to give up
on such a young arm but he looks like a AA org arm to me who needs to take a step back and
pitch in Low A next yr.
