Corner OF who doesn't fit profile. Strong muscular build. Similar to Eddy Martinez-Esteve.
Sets up open with pinched legs. Wide w/hds @ shoulders. First move is to drift out towards
pitcher, never gets back. Cheats to FB. Minimal rhythm in swing. Ball comes off crisp and hard
if he centers ball. Breaking ball beats him all night, doesn't have to be gd one either. Set up well
of plate creates coverage issues. Ends up on his front ft. on most pitches. Very strong-to the
tune of 50 raw power, plays near poor. Hard to get excited about single digit HR totals from
corner OF. Swings thru lots of balls, minimal feel for controlling zone. Doesn't run well,
coupled with poor instincts on bases. Low skidders out of arm limit him to LF. Doesn't stay
under control when hurried. Makes routine plays right at him but gets iffy reads off bat and
will run some circus routes on occ. Lack of bat makes it pretty simple. Don't see where the org
value is outside of round taken. Should get to AA but don't see much at that level.
