Strong RHP with little feel. Large build with strength. Strong in hips and arms. Comes set open.
Arm action solid, arm circles back nicely. Fast arm. Phys. can't extend arm all the way. Repeats
delivery well. Lots of effort. Works anywhere from a high 3/4 slot to over the top. Overthrows
and spins hard off the mound. Heavy, boring FB with gd downhill action to it. Most nights will
sit 92-93. FB is what is it is, nothing to project on. Area command of FB @ best, can throw
strikes with it but can't paint with it by any means. FB enuf to get away with mediocre command
@ A level but will get hit hard as he moves up. Flashes big league bite with SL but plays below
avg due to command issues and inconsis. bite. Will spin a hard tight one and on the next pitch get
underneath it and spin it in flat. SPL shares similar issues as SL. Occ. quality downward bite but
doesn't throw it for strikes. Max effort mentality doesn't bode well for continued
refinement/command of his offspeed offerings. Will hang around due to bonus/arm strength but
he's a AAA arm for me.
