Corner OF who doesn't project to hit for corner power and lacks defensive ability to play CF.
Nice body. Stacked build. Large frame with wide shoulders. Narrow thin legs. Built similar to
Craig Wilson. Awk. ugly swing. Full squat, extra wide legs. Hds down @ letters. Never really
loads his weight back, lifts and seperates then moves forward. Extra high back elbow. Fidgety
hds. Pretty gd feel for bathead despite moving in and out of hitting zone very quick and
minimal timing he has in swing. Gd balance. Heavy top hand and sweeping swing path around
ball leads to pull heavy results. Hds get stuck when trying to handle inside pitch. Below avg
raw power. Contact not consis and he swings thru too many pitches as evidenced by lofty K
totals. Not much interest in drawing walk. Batspd short. Don't see what untapped power lies
in him and as it stands he won't hit enuf to play OF @ ML level. Below avg runner with at
times brutal instincts on base paths. Arm limits him to LF and plays a tick worse during games.
Aggressive, no fear mentality on defense. Will run into and climb walls with abandon.
Defensive game looks better at times when viewed in contrast to his fellow OF teamates. Bat
doesn't fit on either avg or power scale, lacks premo value as a defender to look past offense.
Org. player who will get to AAA but more of a AA guy for me in long haul.
