Physical righty coming off arm problems. XL build, high waisted. Resembles a slightly thicker
Jeff Weaver. Sinker SL arsenal. Arm action funky, stiff circle in back, quick once arm gets up.
Throws across body. Life on FB is in to LHH and away from RHH. Straight, but appears to run
due to angle. Doesn't hold velo @ present. Will come out throwing 87-89 and be 84-85 next
inning. Stuff consis. from game to game, just not within the game itself. Can't throw strikes with
FB @ max velo. Misses generally are down. Can spot it up a bit when he dials it down but not
good enuf to get away with mid 80's. Overthrows. SL is mediocre with sweeping slurvy depth.
Slot drops with SL and cuts off finish. Locates SL better than FB. CH is solid but inconsis,
quality armspd but straight and flat. FB may come back a bit more than it has to this point and
command may jump but will be mediocre @ best. With limited innings he had in 04 I see him back
in the Cal League next year. Not a prospect for me.
