2004 Report

2005 Update:
Light hitting INF who's value comes from ability to play across INF. Small frame. Wiry strong.
Built similar to Fernando Vina. Contact oriented approach helped by gd plate discipline. WBA
BS. Large circle load down and back with hds. Gets blown away by avg FB. Near poor raw
power. Despite approach the little power he has doesn't play @ all. Ball comes off bat softly
and towards dirt. Doesn't bring a lot to the table offensively. Below avg runner. Arm strength
improved since last yr. Will flash a 45 from SS but generally sits BA. Makes the routine play.
Hds playable and he stays behind ball well and moves thru throws well to get everything into
them. Lacks range to play up middle everyday @ next level. 3B is prob. best option but far
from prototyp. player. Bat isn't going to play anywhere, even @ org level. Glove skills not
great enuf to make up for bat. Can see him getting a bit of time @ AA level but it's as last man
on roster playing infreq.
