Lefty with an out pitch. Not esp. big player. High flat shoulders, uni hangs off him. He is Jesse
Orosco. Very athletic player who fields his position very well. Deceptive deliv. identical to
Orosco. Tucks hip and then opens his front side as he sweeps his leg out to land. Landing spot
and stride length a bit inconsis. Repeatable arm slot w/quick arm. Firm A/A in back. Pitches away
from four seam FB. Sits @ 86-87. Uses nasty cutter like FB. Hard late breaker with downward
sink. W/more refined command it can be plus. Very diff. on lefties. Big sweeping SL w/XL tilt is
below avg. Thrown w/ok velo relative to FB. Gets around it too much and slot drops a bit. Shows
gd armspd on CH but it's too firm relative to below avg FB, needs to do something in grip to back
it up a bit. Reliez almost exclus. on cut piece, bit scared to go after guys w/straight FB in tight
situations. Control a bit short but gd enuf that he should see put together some short stints as a
situational lefty in someones pen. Should be pushed quick to see what they have in him.
