Comments:
Sinker slider righty with ba to wba stuff across the board. Good build. Long and lean. Good
athelte, fields position well. Doesn't get comfortable over the rubber. Trouble repeating delivery,
diff finding consis. arm slot and landing area.  Dead backside. Lots of deception with a high front
shoulder and pause with lead leg but it doesn't seem to faze the hitters. Arm action poor, cups in
back which forces him to correct awkwardly when he gets his arm up. FB near poor for a RHP,
will typ sit 83-85.  FB comes out of hand roughly. Doesn't throw strikes @ that low velo. As
mentioned he gets some sinkage but most of it hurts him as he can't control the downward life and
keep it in the zone. SL is slurvy and soft. With his hooking action I would expect him to be a CV
ball guy and would imagine he would have more success with it as the SL is just the wrong pitch
for him. Control issues affect offspd offerings more than FB as he has very little confidence with
them and is forced to rely on and throw BP fastball after BP fastball. Uses a fosh CH which has
some solid life to it but coupled with his 30 control it plays below avg. Should take a fourth try
@ the Cal League next year, I'd drop him down and see if you can work the novelty factor with
him because what he is doing isn't working. AA tops, that's only because of the investment, he'd
be gone by now otherwise.
