Older lefty. Med. sq. build. Smallish. Lots of effort for what comes out of delivery. Nasty head
jerk. Lands closed and body moves diagonally to 1B side. Slings back across body to RH box.
Med. length A/A w/some quickness. Gets under WBA FB. Sits @ 84MPH. Not enuf FB to be
anything less than pinpoint @ upper levels. FB can be thrown only to glove side. Sink to get GB's
w/FB. Establishes CV early in outings. More horiz. than vertical depth. Although thrown w/near
avg velo for CV there is too much variance from pitch to pitch. CH is a notch below CV. Gd
armspd but doesn't move and a bit firm when FB is sitting in low 80's. Can pitch a little. Forced to
nibble with arsenal which leads to some walks. Generally throws strikes and shows solid aptitude
for pitching. Gd pick off move. Peak role for me is as lefty specialist @ AA level. Should be
pushed there next yr. Nice org. player.
