Excel. baseball player with sizable tools across board. Athletic build. Large frame, taller than
expected. Verys strong forearms. Defined lower 1/2. Built like JD. Refined swing produces easy
plus bat spd. Excellent balance, timing and hand path. Sets up w/hds loosly @ shoulders. Quiet
load. Exceptional feel for bathead allows him to make clean contact. Ball comes off bat loud with
easy carry to all corners of park. Keeps bat head in hitting zone for a very long time but then
whips it up to a clean high finish that creates the desired lift. Stays inside ball well. 55/60 raw
power. Strong but much of his power comes from how pure he hits everything and batspd. Solid
control of zone lends itself to quality deep AB's. Occ. gets caught lunging against good CH but
generally sits back well. Gets bit too contact orriented @ times, has the swing and balance to really
go after it more than he does. No holes in swing. Plus runner with good instincts on bases. Bit
slow out of gate as he completes every swing fully and with balance and first step is lacking. Easy
carry on avg arm. Plus in hole when he wants it, will he want it consis? Potential plus accuracy,
throws from multiple angles and while on the move with ease. Smooth defender who should be
given every chance to remain @ SS. Gd footwork, stays behind ball well and reads hops. Reactive
athletic hds and body control to handle tough plays. Generally plays a bit lazy on defense
however, lets ball get deep and takes too much time to complete play. Range is avg, slow first step
robs him of his plus speed on INF. On left side of INF he's a tick above avg, could be a plus
defensive 2B. Makeup is a concern. Plays on cruise control with no visible fire. Will prob.
underachieve like his brother but is simply so talented that he'll still be at worst a 6. @ best he's a
superstar. Has a chance to be one of the most well rounded players in the game. A five tool player
with performance worthy of tools.
