Comments:
Versatile RHP short who can pitch but lacks stuff to get hitters out @ upper levels. Med.- large
frame. Athletic. Evenly prop. Is what he is phys. Repeatable deliv. allows him to throw strikes.
Simple and compact, direction a bit slanted towards 1B but nothing that inhibits ability to work to
both sides of plate or imparts any unintended movement. Some late effort to pull back leg off of
mound. Runs arm down leg with slight pause down by hip. Slow long arm. Very straight FB sits
@ hitting speed. Pitches away away and low to LHH which gets him some GB's. Dials down to
hit a spot. Big loopy CV is premier breaking ball for him. Slips out of his hand w/minimal feel.
Gets slurvy. WBA command of it. Elevates SL. Throws thru it a bit, soft cutter. Doesn't throw as
many strikes w/SL as he does with other pitches-used seldom enuf that it's hard to develop any
kind of feel w/it. CH is prob best pitch. Gd feel and ability to work it both ways w/release.
Throws strikes and keeps BB down. Lacks stuff to miss spots. Last man on staff. Can be
effective as a spot starter. Stuff is much better after long layoffs. Prob. won't be playing in
affiliated ball next yr, if he is it's back in High A.
