Corner IF who lacks pop or pure hitting ability to be a prospect. Strong body and nice smooth
swing. Is what he is as a player. Below avg batspd. Ball comes off soft. Cheats FB, sets up open
and doesn't close up. Obviously has some pull power but it doesn't play near avg. Reaches to pull
with reg. Doesn't have plate coverage to get away with it. Approach poor for player his age.
Poor runner. Solid defensive 1B with soft hands, mediocre arm strength and below avg range make
him fringy avg although it's easier to overlook both of those tools at that pos. Lack of sound plan
@ plate will be exposed @ AA level, shouldn't go any further. Not versatile enuf to keep around
as an org. player.
