Very good baseball player with makeup to get most out of tools. Med. frame. Wiry strong. Built
like Mark Ellis. Excell. lower 1/2. Simple swing lends to clean, consis. contact. Quiet setup with
hds @ shoulder and bat wrapping a bit. Short stride and small circle load keeps him balanced. Can
turn around 60FB w/ease despite fringy batspd. Centers everything and smokes LD's. Excell.
approach sprays balls to all fields. Sees lots of pitches and takes walks. Power is very limited
right now and will never hit more than 4 or 5/yr @ ML level but with how good his contact is
you can dream a tiny bit. Avg runner with gd instincts on bases. Should be versatile enuf to play
all over diamond and not embarrass you. Hds and actions are playable @ 2B and has more than
enuf arm to turn DP with ease. Confident backhand. Lacks quickness to play SS for more than a
few days @ a time @ higher levels. Could throw him out in LF and he's be fine as well. Value is
as a utility guy playing several times a week and giving you a hit off bench late in a game. Should
spend most of next year in AAA.
