Grinder with power. Med. squatty build. High waist, doesn't have an upper body/torso with
length of legs. Built just like his father. Ugly swing gets results. Hds low, steep uppercut swing.
No rythm to swing. Bails early on gd FB and lacks feel for bathead. Hds lag behind head of bat
creating awkward half swings. When he squares ball up it can be special. Lift and seperate guy.
Power is forced-60 raw plays down. Most strength is towards middle of field. Chases balls
everywhere which leads to lots of swings and misses due to poor bat control. Below avg runner
who plays hard. Lacks pure instincts on bases. Defensive skill set suited for LF but can prob.
play CF all the way up to AAA if need be. Lack of speed is apparent in CF. Will run thru a wall
for you and go get some balls that leave you scratching your head but if he's out there everyday
he's below avg. 40 arm is hurt by max effort A/A. Power is calling card. Hard time seeing it
playing above 40 @ ML level and that along with other tools prob. won't be enuf. Very solid 4A
player who wouldn't surprise me if he got a cup of coffee at some point.
