Converted catcher. MIF in college has filled in to catchers build quite well. Thick throughout body
with some bodyfat. Strong. Doesn't do a lot on the offensive side of the ball. WBA bs. Closed
stance, approach is to pull but he can't handle anything hard in on the hands. Pulls off. Flat one
plane swing, no extension/lift. Swings from heels. Shows some gap power to pull side due to
strength but won't show it against quality pitching. Adequate behind the plate. Soft, playable
hands, MIF agility helps some behind the plate but added weight in lower 1/2 has slowed him
down. Should repeat A ball next year as a twenty five year old, may get to AA in a backup role.
