Smart ballplayer who isn't going to profile very well. Plays hard. Lean athletic and loose body.
Prob. not going to fill out, has looked this way for past four yrs. More upright since college.
Still slight crouch but works from a much better base. Extra high hds and sizable leg kick.
Despite setup and trigger he manages to keep his hds inside ball and exhibit a very gd feel for
the bathead. Swing is big with early pre contact movement and some length afterwards but
short where it matters. Excellent hd eye allows him to make consis. contact and work the ball
from gap to gap. Batspd short but there is some whip to it. Sits back well and can stop himself
pretty gd. Tremendous feel for zone. Excellent AB's. Doesn't look like he'll ever hit for much
power. Lots of doubles and shows some strength in BP but contact approach really is going to
make it hard for him to post loud numbers. Best thing he has going for him is ability to hit for
avg, despite great command of zone I'd worry a change in approach to produce power would be
a mess as you can see where swing could get long. Raw power should be better with post
contact lift he has (35-40).  Defensive tools solid. Fringy arm is playable in right. Gd instincts
and quick first step masks below avg speed. Can play on either corner with no problem. Can
hit. Power grades may already be stuffing it too much-really doesn't profile on a corner OF
position @ all. Don't know how much better he can become. If he can continue to hit for high
avg he can develop into a quality AAA player.
