2004 Report

2005 Update:
1B who looks the part. I've done a bit of a reversal on him, more convinced he's gonna hit for a bit
of power, less so on the avg. part. Excel. body. Trim high waist. Developed and cut lower body.
Built similar to David Segui. Gd swing is short on agressiveness, pure hand speed and
coordination. Balanced. Stays on ball well. Notic. more lift in swing is yielding nice power. Lots
of his power is the other way, both gd and bad. Don't know if he can pull ball. Passive. Swings
thru too many soft FB's. SL bat spd. Chases breaking balls out of zone. No real holes in swing,
just in bat itself. Everything is there he just doesn't make contact. Not much plate discipline. Slick
defender with excel. hds and actions. Nice target to throw to. Digs em out with ease and uses his
avg arm to throw from a variety of slots. Turns a nice 3-6-3 DP. Glove will never be a problem.
Don't see him hitting enuf to be a regular. Profiles as a back up 1B with platoon AB's against
RHP, see him moving up and down between AAA and ML level  with some degree of regularity.
