Near submariner with plus command and movement. Old for league but feel and repertoire hard
too ignore. Strong, durable build. Rubber arm. Funky and deceptive delivery. Hands break back,
short stab with arm. Arm sits at waist and moves thru in slingshot fashion. Moves off mound
well from 1st base side of the rubber. Lands on heal but very softly with slight hesitation with
lead leg before putting it down. Very good late life on FB. Sits in the low 80's with filthy sink and
run. Hitters hate facing him. Very comfortable with slot, will have nights where he doesn't miss a
single spot with FB over two innings. Lives at knees. Works both sides of the plate and toys with
hitters. Sweeping frisbee SL is plus pitch with a chance to strike out lots of hitters @ ML level.
Consis. throws for strikes. Quality weapon against both lefties and righties. Hitters know SL is
coming and still can't hit it. CH is below avg, tough to throw a quality CH from arm angle. Arm
speed slows a bit and he's tentative with release. Unflappable demeanor. Has a chance to be a
groundball specialist out of a big league bullpen but will also be a capable of coming in and getting
two or three critical strikouts. Should have pitched @ AA this past year but was needed in Sac.
so he was on a Yo Yo back and forth several times. Could start next year in AA or AAA.
