RHP who's best shot will be out of bullpen. Inteligent. Athletic large build. Moves well for size.
Smooth quick circle in back and late speed with arm outfront allows fastball to jump on hitters.
Leans back to gather himself @ top of delivery. Lands all over the place leading to a sometimes
inconsis. slot and iffy control. Effort in delivery. Nothing smooth about deliv. Quick to the plate.
Generates good plane on his plus fastball. Durability a concern as he will come out of the gates
sitting 93-94 before settling into 89-91 range in the 3rd and 4th. FB straight. Area command of FB
right now. Flashes plus bite with overhand CV. Gets on the side of it and it loses it's bite. Loc.
will need to be better as he moves up as he leaves it up too much. Will never fully harness it
consis to be plus but should become avg with work while still spinning one off every now and
then that draws gasps. Shows good arm spd with CH but hitters see the ball well out of his hand
and aren't fooled by it. Cutter is 4th pitch. More of a thrown thru SL. Flat and up in the zone in
his comfort zone around 84MPH. Looks like a middle reliever at the big league level, FB should
be a solid plus offering over two inn, command won't be what you demand from a setup/closer
role. Has the mentality to pitch in a bullpen role.
