LH hitter with a chance to become doubles machine @ ML level. Should resemble Miguel Cabrera
with added strength and maturity. Sloped shoulders and lean upper body sit on top of narrow
waist. Room for more strength up top. Lower 1/2 already developed. Great swing. Sets up with
hds high above head, bat moves loosely in hands. Very rythmic. Wrists work well in swing.
Drops hands down inside the ball pulling barrel through with ease. Sprays line drives to all fields.
Ball doesn't come off with much authority yet but with added strength line drives will start flying
over fence. Flashes ability to put a charge into FB. Polished approach for young hitter. Has a
chance to develop avg power. Has some defensive versatility. Can play corner IF and OF
positions. Not a standout defender but with work should become adequate. I would teach him
how to catch as he has the hands and an accurate if below avg arm. If he could catch once a week
he could have some serious value. Could develop into an Eli Marrero type player. Looks like a
.280-.290 hitter with 15-19 HR.
