Comments:
Big league bodied RHP with interesting four pitch repertoire. Strong throughout entire body, built
like Twins RHP Joe Nathan. May add some more weight to lower 1/2. Evenly prop. build.
Balanced, compact delivery for a big guy. No deception. GD athlete. Breaks hands down and
back, arm takes short path to cocked position. Drifts out. Effort only when he needs something
extra. Generates good downhill life from a high 3/4 slot. Finishes his pitches well and grasps the
concept of keeping the ball down and throwing GB's. FB fairly straight. Ability to spin an above
avg breaking ball right now, with added consis.  it will be a steady plus offering with plus velo and
hard downward action. Shows lots of conf. with it right now and as command within zone
improves it will be a legit strike out pitch. SPL (CH on chart) has a SL like cut to it and can be
effective at times if he can locate it. Arm spd slows too much and he is soft at the end with it.
Cutter can be unhittable if bite is consis. Large break for a cutter, throws it hard. Solid big league
offering right now, chance to be plus down the line. Massett has number three starter stuff,
command may be a bit short for that spot but stuff should allow him to sit in the back of a big
league rotation.
