Plus defender with contact approach and gd swings from both sides of plate. Gd body, thick
dev. lower 1/2. High pockets. High loose hds with bat wrap. Drops back elbow down as he
swings and does a nice job of staying inside ball. Below avg batspd. Crisp line drives. Gd feel
for strike zone. Vulnerable to soft stuff away. Power will never be selling point but can run
into a ball and drive into gap if mistakes are made. Below avg runner. Arm is hurt right now but
from accounts it's avg. Pure defensive instincts and actions. Is plus @ 2B and could prob. be
avg in short term @ 2B. Made all the plays for me. Moves laterally with ease and comes in or
moves backwards well. Slick. Reads hops well and has hds to adjust to bad ones. @ worst he's
an org. glove man. I don't see bat being enuf to get him to ML level. 4A player for me who
could get a brief cup if his glove is needed at the right time.
