Defensive orriented catcher who won't hit enuf to hang around. Strong build for a catcher. Thick in
lower 1/2. Built like Greg Myers. Swing is too compact and short. Doesn't have any extension or
lift. Swings around body. One plane swing. Swings over everything and beats balls into ground.
Eye level changed easily with quality offspead offerings. Easy out. Some raw power due to
strength but he handicaps himself with his swing and poor offensive approach. Runs like a
catcher. Fringy arm strength with on the bag accuracy. Soft hands and a quick release aide him
behind the dish. While adequate his defensive skills aren't enuf to overlook what little he brings to
the table from an offensive standpoint. May get a cup of coffee @ AA, but not for an extended
time.
