Biggest C you'll ever see with tools fitting of his stature. Looks to be taller than listed height of
6'5''. Xtra long legs and narrow waist. Chiseled frame and features. Incredibly strong hds play on
both sides of ball. Big league body. Resembles Ben Davis. Long swing makes consis. contact a
problem but showcases occ. power to keep you coming back. Hds down @ letters. Stiff mech
trigger pushes hds back. Open static stance. Arms so long it very hard for him to keep inside ball
and stay compact. Serious hang time on balls put in air due to tremendous hds strength. If he
times a FB it will jump. Doesn't see SL well and gets arms out away from body on CH making
him esp. long to ball. 70 raw power. Loud. Lots of leverage in swing. Don't think he'll ever be
more than a 3 hitter and power will prob. play below avg as well. Chance to be solid defensiv.
Gd carry thru bag in games w/near plus arm. May throw a bit better as he tightens up salt shaker
release. Release is cleaner when in hurry. Throws well from mult. arm angles and on move.
Flexible and agile for size. Ft. are narrow but he sits pretty low. Moves around like a much
smaller guy on balls in dirt. Very strong hds allow him to smoothly stick pitches. Strongest
receiv. hds in league but could catch ball better in halves than he is. Sways too early and puts all
body weight on one side of plate when setting up with runners on base which limits his ability to
move to receive a poorly located pitch as well as giving hitters a bit of a feel for where he is. Solid
presence behind plate who looks to work well with his staff. Inherent worry about long limbs
breaking down with time behind plate. Value is behind plate. For me he is a very solid 4A player
who should get some limited big league time.
