Righty with deception. Medium frame with minimal muscle. Not much room on frame for
strength. Works from 1st base side and throws severely across body. Slings from a low 3/4 slot.
Smooth, loose arm in back. RHH are uncomfortable in box due to angle and sense that he is on top
of them at release. Good sink and run on below avg FB from slot. FB sits at 86-88 right now,
touching some 90's. When fully recovered should sit 87-90. Not much command of FB.
Overthrows and has to dial a notch down to put it in the zone. Deep counts, works from behind.
FB has CH like pause to it on way towards plate, very tough to pick up out of hand. SL is soft
and flat, purely horiz. break. Don't see improvement with SL with slot and body direction over
rubber. CH is wba for me, leaves it up and arm spd slows. Mech. and health give me pause and
lack of secondary pitches are a concern. Will need to get more innings @ A ball level next year and
not the youngest guy. Peak should be in middle relief @ AAA level.
