Refined RHP with fringy to below avg offerings and command. Athletic, large frame with sloped
shoulders. Defined legs and arms. Compact, repeatable delivery. Hides ball very well in back with
short catcher like arm action. Works from straight over the top to supply some sink into bottom
half of strike zone. Works off of a fringe avg FB that sits @ 88. FB livelier than readings, gets on
hitters quick due to fast arm and deception. Can cut it but generally stays to the outside corners
and is reluctant to go underneath the hands. Stays on top well. SL inconsis. Spins off hands well
but doesn't finish like he does with FB. Consis. up in zone with it. Break a bit too big to be true
SL. Quality of pitch varies too much and command not trustworthy enuf. He'll back off of the SL
@ 75-76 with a softer, tighter break. A velo where with his arm spd he should be throwing a true
CV. CH is below avg, unable to throw it against lefties with success. Control generally solid of
FB, Offspd control mediocre. Would need to be pinpoint with command to make up for
lackluster stuff across board. With refined delivery and build don't see much room for
improvement. Is a AAA bullpen arm who may get a cup of coffee in an emergency role.
