Big strong righthander w/FB. XL frame. phys. mature. Crossfire deliv. has him landing well across
body. Creates cut as he slings it back across body. Hard head jerkage. Struggles to find consis. arm
slot to work from. Short A/A in back. Amr gets up very early and sits high above head giving
hitters a very gd look, although as mentioned the slot varies leading to some discomfort for hitters.
Lively explosive Fb sits @ 93. No loc. Pitches up in zone, may be enuf to get bad swings @ 95.
Overthrows. Hard cut on FB is thrown to one side of plate. Very limited in what he can do with
FB. Gets very straight if he tries to throw it towards his armside. Flattens out as he gets under it.
Slurvy CV is also up in strike zone. Nothing CV about it. 10% are true CV's. When he flashes it
it's gd, but hard to see him being able to repeat it if he hasn't been able to yet. Sinkage with straight
CH, never saw strikes. Not too many strikes, more of a concern is lack of command. Gets hit hard
and doesn't miss bats. Too many walks. May get a taste of AA next yr as a 26 yr old but that
should be as far as his FB takes him.
