2005 Update:
INF short on tools who leaves it all on field. Better player than last yr. compact little body with
some body fat. Not esp. athletic or twitchy looking body but he can play the game a little. Gd
balance in short little swing. No whip in swing or anything after contact. Ball comes off very soft
when he occ. centers ball. Heavy top hand. WBA batspd. Squares ball up ball well in BP but
can't make same contact in game. WBA raw power. Best bolt sneeks over fence down line. Sees
lots of pitches which creates some walks but swings thru way too many pitches. Proving more
capable of handling SS. Below avg arm is hurt by wind up release. Biggest improvement has been
in range, getting to lots more balls. Still has problems finishing play, hurries throws and doesn't
keep his ft underneath him. Sits back on balls, nothing is easy or smooth. Turns solid DP coming
across bag. Hard time seeing him getting out of A ball with lack of offense but the strides he has
made are commendable.
