Comments:
RH with lively stuff. Med. frame. Very thin throughout body, long legs, no rear, wire thin arms.
Narrow upper won't hold any weight. Phys. is what he will be despite immature build. Durability
questions. Quik tempo in delivery along with a fast arm. Quality deliv. Throws slightly across
body but nothing to worry about. Across body angle allows hitters to get a good look at the ball
in what is a decption free delivery. Ball comes out of hand smoothly. FB straight and flat but can
locate it down in the zone if he finishes. Heavy. Breaking balls painfully inconsis. Throws both a
CV and SL but the majority of the time it floats between the two in a slurvy fashion. Not a bad
pitch but with his armspd  he should spin a more true CV. SL gets better as he tires and throws it
slower compared to the cutter life he has in the 83-84 range. CH has very good arm spd and
sinkage but he struggles to throw it for strikes. Frustrating to watch the good stuff come out of
his hand and see how he gets hit around. Control inconsis. from inning to inning. Command won't
be better than mediocre, should pick one breaking ball and focus on it. Should spend the 05 season
back in the Cal League as a 24 year old. Should get to AA in a relief role but don't see him going
any further.
