OF with potential to be a 5 tool player in the big leagues. Strong thick build. Built like a young
Sammy Sosa. Strong in wrists and forearms. Has made tremendous strides from last year. Plus
raw bat spd and power to all fields. Ball explodes off bat. Shows the makings of a quality
approach at the plate. Still chases out of the zone too much and occ. has very poor AB's but he
really seems to be grasping what it takes to be a professional hitter and he has the tremendous
tools to go along with it. Shows ability to sit back on offspeed pitches and instinctively turn on a
plus FB. Takes healthy cut and gets long, I would be hesitant to have him tone it down and risk
losing some of his power. Plus runner who gets out of box a bit slow due to big cut but still gets
down the line quick. Plus arm strength and has a chance to develop into big league CF. Shaky
routes @ times but he has athleticism and speed to outrun his mistakes and he comes in very well
on balls. Has the arm to play RF but he obviously has more value if he can remain in CF, which
he should. Plays hard and seems like a player who will get the most out of his sizable abilities.
Enthusiasm tempered only with age and inconsis. Should become avg big league OF.
