2005 Update:
C putting up a mirror image of '04 season. Strong C build handles rigors of pro season. Low waist.
Classic C body. Crouched two piece swing. Early stride. Long. Stiff. Runs into FB. Loud contact
in BP. Flat plane swing conducive to line drives. Solid understanding of strike zone. Can't deal
with quality breaking ball, imagine this has been problem @ AA level as well as holes in swing due
to length. Not going to get much better as a hitter and has proved he can't hit in AA. 40 raw
power. Below avg arm plays even further down with slow release. No carry, crawls into the bag.
Cheats to throw with ft which limits his lateral agility. Doesn't catch ball. Turns glove over too
much, should have better hands for a strong guy. May get back to AA next yr based on strength of
second half but I'm not too optimistic for him hitting in his 3rd shot at the level.
