2005 Update:
Switch hitting OF who hasn't taken step forward. Not playing everyday. Angular athletic
build. Thin waist and narrow lower legs. Resembles Rocco Baldelli. More refined hitter from
left side but still short. Sets up leaning out front and load rocks him back to middle. Drifts out
LH. Stays inside baseball well LH but handpath gets long and slow RH.. Too much going on in
swing to allow him to make gd contact. Limited extension of lift out front from either side
limits him to WBA raw power. Wants to pull but lacks batspd or strength to drive ball hard.
Chases out of zone. Hard time staying back on soft stuff. Defensive ability not enuf to look
past lack of offense. Below avg arm playable in CF. Stiff defensive actions. Moves back pretty
well on balls but generally lacks pure instincts and speed to play up middle. Hasn't improved.
Will be 24 in offseason and isn't ready for AA, don't see him in affiliated ball next yr.
