2004 Report

2005 Update:
Lefty who is moving backwards. Physically same guy. Large unathletic body. Built like John
Halama. Funkier deliv. Hides ball well. Slot has raised to over top. Head tilts and  jerks in order to
make room for arm. Narrow deliv. Back leg doesn't release completely. Arm length varies from
pitch to pitch.  Stiff A/A. Everything he does is stiff. No strikes with varying FB. All over velo
spectrum from night to night. Looks very soft. Gd angle w/FB. Soft cut. doesn't get ball over
plate. Seems to have scrapped developing CV or it is just not very gd any more. Slurvy w/no loc.
Release point varies. Didn't get one over plate. CH is best pitch w/full deliv. and armspd. Works it
to both sides of plate with a bit better life when he cuts it. Doesn't throw strikes. Walks guys
every inning and is not K'ing guys. Finds hard loud contact when he comes in strike zone.
Emotional on mound. Bad pick move. Numbers tell story. Left handed and young, should get to
AA in mid relief role but value is as org. man.
