Old RH with rough mechanics and subpar stuff. Works from 1st base side of rubber. Lead leg flies
open into landing, lands about 2 ft. open and on the side slope of the mound. Slot is high side as
his flying open pulls his slot down and to the side. Lots of stress placed on shoulder and the
violence hurts his command as his slot floats anywhere from a straight side up to a normal 3/4.
Finishes upright. Leads with elbow and rushes out with upper body from side. FB is flat and
straight despite low slot he doesn't get any run. Motions CV with glove but throws two types of
breaking balls, neither one a CV. He'll throw a cutter in the low 80's with a small tight break,
locates it well. He also throws a back off slurvy breaking ball in the high 70's. The cutter is the
most consis. of the two. CH is straight with solid arm spd and sink. Command will never be
better than mediocre with slot and mechanics. With his age and lack of success he should be
released this offseason.
