LH hitter without position. Thick, large build. Small, crouched stance. Hds low, bat on shoulder.
Steep uppercut plane. WBA batspd. Doesn't control strike zone. Approach is to pull. Chases out
of zone. Tentative, soft swings with two strikes. Can't hit + stuff. Contact lazy. Some strength to
pull side. No interest in going the other way. Dead lower body. Holes in swing will be exposed in
AA. Uncomfortable around bag. Unathletic actions. Poor footwork and hands make him a
liabbility in field. Arm would play in OF but wouldn't cover enuf ground. Baseclogger speed. I
would have him repeat the Cal League next year and see if he can get away from his pull happy
approach, he would struggle imm. in AA. Don't see swing/approach working past AA, doesn't
have versatility to keep around as org. player.
