Soft tossing lefty who can get some outs. Large frame, phys. mature. Is what he is both phys. and
stuff wise. Herky jerky deliv. with lots of effort for soft stuff that comes out. Visible shoulder
restriction. Throws across his body. Rushes out towards plate. Slot floats in 3/4 range. Varying
slots make it diff. for him to stay on top of pitches. Dice roller in back with arm. Slow arm. Soft
FB sits @ 79 with some solid cut. Movement coming more from lack of velo than anything
imparted on it. Uses FB sparingly as he tries to avoid contact. Sweeping CV has area command at
best. Inconsis. release point and slot leads to varience from pitch to pitch. CH is best pitch but is
too firm w/FB thrown in high 70's. Elevates too much w/it. Confident to throw in any count.
Contact is relativ. soft and can frustrate some hitters. Control befitting of his name. Afraid of
contact-leads to high BB totals. Doesn't get hit esp. hard and if he gets in a groove he can be
effective. Stuff just not gd enuf to see much org value from here on out. Don't see him in affiliated
ball next yr.
