Large righty with gd stuff that needs refinement. XL frame, Narrow upper body, thick lower 1/2.
Arm action smooth in back. Easy low 90's FB. Lands soft, throws over flexed knee, gd extension
and finish out front. Can't sustain peak velo for more than two inn. Soft FB. Hides ball well in
back but hitter see ball very well and it doesn't jump on them quick. Mixes well. Slot needs to be
more consis. SL is thrown with avg velo and occ. flashes big league bite. CH is straight with some
sink. Cutter is below avg, more of a back off two seam. Struggles to locate all his pitches. Hard to
walk away from the stuff and the ease in which he throws but durability and command have to
improve for him to be anything more than a AAA starter. With how refined mech. are already I
don't see command improving notably. Should miss more bats than he does with his stuff. Passive
for a big guy who throws hard. May get a cup of coffee in long relief @ the ML level but he's a
AAA guy for me.
